I’m not sure how your summer’s been, but the staff of The Hungry Southerner has been roasting! After several days of temperatures in the 90’s, a cool white wine is a great way to beat the heat on a warm summer night. We’ve got two great options that are light, crisp and refreshing. If you’re like me, you get excited after a long, cold winter when the temperature begins to climb and the days start to lengthen in anticipation of summer. Along with blooming flowers and bountiful vegetable gardens, summertime provides the perfect backdrop for backyard barbeques and impromptu dinners with friends over a bottle (or two) or good wine.
